Digital Surveillance Training

This 4-day course focuses on digital imagery fundamentals and allow the students to use digital cameras to capture imagery during daytime, low-light, and nighttime at extended ranges. This course allows the student to effectively use the manual and semi-automatic settings (not just automatic) to capture images under challenging conditions. Classroom instruction and practical exercises build confidence and understanding. Extra day enhancements can be added for physical surveillance refresher and/or practical exercise. Topics include:

-the exposure triangle

-night photography

-long range photography

-equipment considerations

-understanding of image quality

-Planning considerations

Green Otter Solutions provides scalable training packages which provide both refresher training as well as initial training for Physical Surveillance. A minimum of three days is required for less experienced and initial training personnel incorporation onto an experienced surveillance team. Training packages can be for urban, rural, or both with extra day(s) focusing on surveillance operations planning. Topics include:
